John Knox Center is located in the rolling hills of East Tennessee with miles of lake front shoreline and picturesque sunsets. We invite you to participate in one of our organized retreats or events or design your own program. We offer several lodging and program opportunities for adults, youth and children with delicious food service during your stay. Let our staff assist you in planning your next church retreat, meeting, team building or educational event.
The Camp John Knox summer camp program has been changing lives for 53 years. We offer a wide variety of options and small group sizes that make campers feel right at home, for children 4 - 18 years old. The camp community creates an atmosphere where campers gain confidence, self-esteem, build strong relationships with each other and strengthen their faith through activities and common experience.
John Knox Center is also the home of the River Ridge Environmental Education Program. Established in 1994, River Ridge is a top education program offering hands on programs for a variety of grade levels and sizes. Day or overnight programs are available that incorporate hands-on and experiential learning.
