Join the Fun
Grab your coat, fabric stash, machine, and current projects and join us at John Knox Center for three, four, or five days of Sewing on the River.  Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, delicious food, and a beautiful setting.  All sewing and continental breakfasts takes place in Abel Lodge and B Lodge with lunch and dinner by the cozy fire in our Dining Hall.
Payment Info  
You will be given the option of paying with our PayPal account on the online registration page, or simply mail us a check to: John Knox Center, Att: Sewing on the River Registration, 591 W. Rockwood Ferry Road, Ten Mile, TN  37880. If you are not paying by PayPal be sure to put a zero in the Paypal box on the registration form.

Cancellation Policy    
$25 of your payment  is non-refundable.  For a refund of all but the $25 you must cancel via phone (865-376-2236) or email ( at least 7 days before the retreat begins. For cancellations made after the 7 day deadline, $25 of your payment is non-refundable.  50% of the remaining payment will be returned to you and 50% is non refundable or transferable but may be applied to next year's Sewing on the River registration.    

Chair Massage
Jen Marks will be here with her massage chair on Tuesday so be sure to bring a little cash!  Cost is $1.00 per minute.  Jen has been a wonderful addition to the week, saving our necks and shoulders!  We welcome her back.

Need a New Project?   
Lisa, owner of  “Loose Threads” in Harriman, Tennessee will set up her shop (dates to be determined).   There will be a selection of fabric, books, threads, and other items for sale.

Mission Project
This year's project will be chemo caps for cancer patients.  The link to get the pattern is  Please feel free to bring finished chemo caps to donate to the Thompson Cancer Center in Knoxville or plan to work on them here.
Accommodations & Amenities
Guests will be staying in our B-Unit cabins, C-4 & 5 cabins or in the Dorm!  Each cabin accommodates a maximum of 8 guests including double showers, sinks, restrooms, and dual control quiet HVAC units.  Dorm rooms are semi-private or triple and have bathrooms in each room with a large gathering space joining each wing.  C1-3 are available at a discounted rate per retreat.  These cabins have been renovated, have heat and a/c, with bathrooms in the dorm.

ing will take place in Abel Lodge and B Lodge where tables and padded chairs, refrigerator and microwave are available to make your stay more comfortable.  

Please remember if you are arriving on Sunday, Dinner is not provided.  Your first meal is Breakfast served in our Dining Hall served at 8:30 on Monday.    
Cozy up by the fire in the Dining Hall or take a break from sewing with a walk around the lake, reflective time in the sabbath space or enjoy a good book.  
Registration Information
Registration is online or you can print the form and mail it in.  If registering online but paying by check, record the check number in the proper box and mail the check.  

We will be enjoying delicious meals and snacks.  If you have any special dietary needs (allergies, vegetarian, diabetes, etc.), please indicate this on your registration form.

Retreat Apparel
If Sewing on the River t-shirts and sweatshirts are available for order, an email will be sent prior to the event.  We must receive a minimum order.  John Knox Center hats, short sleeve & long sleeve t-shirts are available in limited sizes for purchase at the retreat.  We accept cash, checks, Master Card, Visa and Discover. 

Not Staying the Night?
Don’t want to worry about dinner?  Take dinner home each evening for your family.  Participants’ meals are included in the cost of the event, just order the number of extra meals you will need.    

Projects & Patterns
Bring your favorite projects and patterns to share.  Make sure to bring extra copies.
